Virginia Kappa at William & Mary is a reborn colony of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. As a phoenix colony, we are rising from the ashes to become stronger and more prominent on campus than ever before. As I write this, in the spring semester of 2011, we are eleven strong and growing, with our most recent recruitment proving to be the most successful to date. Though looking to constantly expand, we never forget our creed, and constantly hold ourselves to the highest standard possible. This means accepting only a man worthy of the description 'True Gentleman'.
We are overhauling our website currently, so excuse any hiccups. However, we hope that current members, Chapter Alumnus, and prospective members alike make use of this site. Information on upcoming events, such as recruitment events, philanthropy events, and alumni events can all be found here. I realize that joining a fraternity is an important and sometimes difficult decision and I hope that if you have come to learn about this fraternity and what it means to be an SAE, you will visit our recruitment page and take a glimpse at the life of being a brother.
Only a sophomore, I feel honored to have been elected Eminent Archon. I see this as a challenge but also as an opportunity to expand and improve our great fraternity. Though our tangible goal is obtaining a charter from our national headquarters, I see our long term and eventual goal to not only be receiving a charter but ensuring that the colony becomes an intimate, dignified, and respected chapter on the William & Mary campus.
Phi Almost,
Peter Steele, William and Mary '13
ΣAE Eminent Archon
